Rowling Outs Dumbledore

J.K. Rowling has come out and said, in no uncertain terms, that Albus Dumbledore is gay.
Which is marvelous, IMHO. Why wouldn’t there be gay characters in the HP universe? And why not the headmaster of Hogwarts himself?
What bothers me is that the statement seems to have been made as an implied negative answer to the question of whether or not he ever finds true love. Is that a subconscious bias showing, Jo, dearie?
From what I read, she actually seems to have meant that he fell for Grindelwald — and was somewhat blinded to Grindelwald’s faults by it too.
I wonder if anyone will ever dare ask her the same question about Sirius. Considering the crush he has on James Potter…
I’ll bet there’s a whole contingent of the fandom out there scouring the books for hints as to who else might be gay. Sirius would be a prime candidate. And, of course, there are lots of other people we know nothing about on that personal a level: Madam Hooch? Professor Flitwick? Minerva???
